ANNOUNCEMENTS

Save the Date

June 22, 2013

It seems like just yesterday, but it's been over four years since the Reunion Committee buckled down and really started planning the 40th Reunion as well as locating the "missing".

With a little over a year to go until the 45th Reunion, the year will surely zip by.   If you relocate or change your email address, please remember to update your profile here or, if you feel more comfortable, notify Pat Dezi, our Class Communicator.

Watch for Pat's periodic Email Communiques with all the latest & greatest up-to-date information.

As always, if you can't enter the site once you've created a Profile, email the Site Administrator.

Welcome to the Pulaski High Class of 1968 web site honoring the Classmates of 1968 as well as the three Reunions to date.  And then there's the 45th Reunion Picnic now officially scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 2013!

Adding information about yourself is easy.   Select your name from the Classmate list and follow the instructions.  Enter as much or as little info as you'd like.  It's all up to you.  This FREE site is intended to replace the paid sites of Classmates.com and Reunion.com, as well as be 1968 specific.  When you create and save a profile, even though you may not wish to enter any personal information, an email address and address would be extremely helpful to the Reunion Committee.   Remember to update personal information as necessary.

  * When creating your profile, it is strongly recommended you:

-check the box towards the bottom of your profile page entitled Profile Visibility

-uncheck the Contact Details box leaving just your city and state viewable.

After you've saved your profile, verify it's what you want published by clicking on the Classmate Profiles link at the top and selecting your name.  You can add to or re-edit your information at anytime by visiting the Edit Profile link located in the Member Functions section of the Menu Bar.

Finally, for further goings-on, news, discussions, photos and just plain fun stuff, visit the Pulaski Class of 1968 Blog, click the following link and you will leave this site and be directed to the Blog.    http://pulaski1968.blogspot.com/

If you have any questions or concerns, please email the Site Administrator from the "Contact Us" page.

High Wycombe Weighs New Mayor 20th May ( 1958 ) : An annual custom dating back to medieval times unique to High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England weighs the Mayor of the town each year so that the public can see whether or not he has been getting fat at the taxpayers' expense.

During the weigh in performed by the local "macebearer" dressed in traditional costume rings a bell and calls out the weight.
When he adds the words "And no more!" the crowd cheers as a sign of their appreciation and gratitude for the hard work done by the mayor for the community.

When he adds the words "And some more!", it means the mayor has been indulging in too much good living at rate payers' expense and the crowd jeers and boos.
