Henry Earl Loveland

Henry E. Loveland, 57, of Plainville died Saturday (December 9, 2006) at the Hospital of Central CT at New Britain General. Henry was born in Bangor, ME and was the son of the late Frederick and Norma (Robertson) Loveland. He worked for several years as a postal carrier for the Hartford Post Office. Henry was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He was a lifetime member of the AMVETS, the Connecticut Bassmen and he was an avid coin collector.

Henry is survived by his wife, Anne M. Loveland of Plainville; his two sons, Steven and David Loveland both at home; his brother, Gary Loveland and his wife, Carol of Westbrook; his three sisters, Barbara Seidel and her husband, Ed of Fort Meyers, FL, Judy Baba and her husband, Jeff of Columbus, OH, Donna Green and her husband, Andy of Bristol; his mother and father-in-law, Irene and Geno Masciangioli of Southington; and several nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends. Henry was predeceased by his infant son, Henry Loveland.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Henry's life, Wednesday December 13, from 4-7 p.m. at the Paul A. Shaker/Farmingdale Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Avenue, New Britain. Directions to funeral home, I-84 - Exit 37 (Fienemann Road), right off exit - one mile down on right.

Henry was my brother in-law and I have many happy memories of him and his brother Robert(my husband in 1970) who also has deceased on November 17th of 2005. Our high school days were great with Robert a year ahead of us, as I was in Henry's graduation class. Many happy days to remember with all of Henry's family and friends. Love, in memory...
