Kevin Kelly passed away on August 27 at his home in Higganum, CT. His wife is my sister, Heather McCall- Kelly, a 1972 Pulaski graduate.  Kevin Kelly was my oldest and best friend for almost 60 years.

Kevin had been having medical issues for quite some time.  My wife is a funeral director for Neptune Cremation Service and handled the arrangements.  There was no funeral.  Everything was private.

Kevin leaves behind his wife, Heather Jean McCall-Kelly, 3 sisters Eileen, Kerry and Maureen, and 1 brother, Brian.

Kevin will be missed.

I have so many great memories of Kevin Kelly. We became friends in our senior year and remained friends for years after graduation. He was truly one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure to know. He was a gentle soul who had a passion for politics and a great love of music. His musical interests spanned the spectrum from Frank Zappa to jazz, to Zydeco and everything in between. We shared the experience of going to Woodstock together in '69, which is a story in itself. Along with Kevin McCall, we shared apartments, music concerts, and lots and lots of laughs over those years. I headed out west for a while right after his marriage to Heather and we lost touch over the years. But I did get to meet him for lunch right around the time of our 50th class reunion. I hadn't seen him in years, but he was instantly recognizable. His black hair and beard were now gray, but he hadn’t really changed all that much. When we sat down at the table, the conversation almost immediately gravitated toward politics and music. Still the same old Kevin. My heartfelt condolences to both Heather and the Kelly family.
