Michael Madonna(1949 - 2017)



Michael Madonna, 68, of Harwinton, CT, passed away Monday, December 18th, at his home. He was the beloved husband of Donna (Wark) Madonna. Michael was born in Fall River, MA on September 26, 1949, a son of the late Marion (Breier) and Nicholas Madonna. He served in the US Marines during Vietnam, discharged as a Corporal with Honors. Mike's heartfelt belief was a song by John Lennon- Let's Give Peace a Chance. After retiring from GE in Plainville, he enjoyed winters in the Caribbean and summers in Nantucket. He was also an avid flyer of pigeons for over 50 years, and was a sport fisherman. He had a loving and generous heart and a great sense of humor and will be missed by family and friends. May he rest in the arms of the Lord In addition to his wife he leaves sons Jason Tulloch and wife Christy and their children Madelyn and Nicholas; Garrick Madonna; and Nathan Madonna. He also leaves brothers Mark Madonna and wife Helen, Robert Madonna and wife Martina, and a sister Collen Malley and husband Dennis as well as several nieces and nephews.
